As I don't know how to do the maths,what is the ratio?
It needs to be 4.3:1 BUT a C4 is that but the pinion is shorter due to the C4 being driven by a doughnut and mine with a torque tube,I don't know what the GTB is....transaxle/doughnut?

One of the joys of Ferrari ownership for me is tracking down parts that are supposedly unobtainable. Just like the spare wheel cover and fitted boot floor I found for the 575 recently

So I pushed the models button and see it excludes the C4...sort of answers that.......onto it!

 

Shall we start a discussion again RE the importance of having the correct diff?

If all else fails, it wouldn't have been the end of the world.

 

It's not the car I paid for.

 

GTO diff 8/34 is 4.25
365GT4 factory 10/43 is 4.3
C4 11/45 is 4.09
400 gt 10/43 is 4.3
daytona 10/33 is 3.3
QM 8/34 is4.25

 

Simon if your car had a 400 auto diff it was 12/39 ie 3.25 so no wonder it was a bit sluggish

 

My Jess Pourret book has 8 different diff ratios Howard for the GTO , from 34/7 (129.3mph) to 32/9 (175.9mph) .... 8/34 gave it 147.5 mph

9/32 would have been Le Mans obviously
