There was only like 420 2400's made. You can tell a 2400 easily by the horizontal chrome stripes in the front grill. 2400's have fully independent suspension.

This might be the best restored version in the world. Almost too perfect to drive. Beautiful.

Mayor: There is at least one other 2400 Spider with a restoration equal to or better than the Gooding car.

Of the 424 produced, there are an incredibly small number, that are completely original and unrestored, then probably less than 10 that have been really properly restored, as the market until perhaps recently just didn't encourage the majority of owners to finance such an undertaking.

Ribolla: Specifically, I was referring to the "blue/green" car sold through Mike Sheehan in the fall of 2020. It won its class at a number of major concours in the States and was the subject of a cost-no-object restoration when owned by the U.S. head of Toyota Advanced Design in California. I am sure there are a few other very nice 2400 Spiders also out there.

That is a really, really nice one. Probably over $200K to get it in that shape.

You could not do it for $250,000 at today's restoration prices.

So we saw a benchmark here back in March. Hot hot hot market.

Sept/Oct 2022, what is the look ahead on 2.0 and 2.4 Spiders?
