I am desperately looking for a clutch support sensor which is Ferrari part number 201282, for a 360. I have contacted all of the usual suspects like FerrParts and Ricambi as well as several of the dealers. I was told that Cauley Ferrari in Detroit had three in stock but cannot get them to answer the phone. This part is on backorder from Ferrari for at least a few months. If there is anyone out there who can help it would be greatly appreciated. I drive mine daily so I really need a fix. Thank you!

For 201282, I use a very specific (and revered) description: 'intergalactic backorder'. The fact that Ferrari has not made this available again is somewhere between irresponsible and negligent. Anywhere along that spectrum, take your pick.

(yes, I did pour myself an exceptionally strong G&T within the last 30 minutes... because I sure as f^#K am not drinking vodka these days)

That's an F1 part, right? Seems to me that this part might be a leftover from an F1 to gated conversion. Have you tried calling any of those companies?

I have one as I just did a conversion. Do have a potential buyer for it but will know tomorrow if he is going to take it. If you want to message me tomorrow I can let you know. My car is an 04’ with 5,000 miles.

My car is a manual. I am told the part is the same for both. Please let me know. Thank you!

There is no clutch sensor on my gated 360! Do you have one that is connected or are you talking about a 430?

Correct manual variants don't use a clutch sensor.

It's a plastic housing (43) with a slot that guides and limits the travel of the slave bearing via its pin (23). On the F1 version, it's part of an attached sensor with a magnet that tells the computer where the clutch is. On the 6-speed, there is no sensor there but the bracket remains. It looks like someone could/should print a version of that.

I'm guessing the original material is probably nylon or similar. If the part could be drawn and an STL (3d object) built, there are dozens of companies that can 3D print amazing quality parts for almost nothing. It looks like a part like that could be made for about $5 or less, in lots of 20 (most have a minimum charge of $100).

How critical is this part? My car did not have one when I did the clutch and throwout bearing!

I thought it was for F1 only but, on closer inspection, it appears to belong on both according to the parts diagrams.

It is not needed on a manual shift car.

Since there is no sensor attached to it, I am not sure what it's doing there.

    A. He is looking for the support. Not the sensor. He said it more than once.

    B. And all the Ferrari mechanics should be ashamed of themselves. The support is used in manual cars for an anti rotation device.

    How was that not known?

There is an early and late style. I'd be surprised if there were many early style still left out there. In any event it makes no difference on a stick shift car. That being the case why is it being replaced? Its not like they wear out.

If I was them I would not sell over the counter anyway. Your first responsibility is to the service customers.

Why are you replacing the one you have?

One shot distillery, even closer to the house. I can almost walk there.
