Was going to write the same or say how nice a new, virgin thread is before it gets polluted by the HAM “fans”.
This year championship is up for grabs, wer're really in the dark, let's hope our boys are in the mix!
Its here. Next weekend. Our first race! Ferrari show pace and stability. A win and or a podium and I will be happy!! Im pulling for Sainz for some reason. He did well vs Max and has a toughness and determination vs the smooth and cunning Charles. Both are excellent! How lucky Ferrari are now!

Verstappen still not at "full beans" despite topping F1 test Max Verstappen says he is still not at "full beans" with his Red Bull, despite a blistering time on the final day of the Bahrain Formula 1 test.
Daniel needs to be smarter and more cautious than this. No excuse for getting COVID before a race and missing testing. None. He is 32 and now Herta is being tested this year in the Mclaren. He is replaceable and if he doesnt really compete with Lando well this year..........they have options. He needs to get it right and soon. This is a poor timing and start for a big year that matters. If replaced he will move down the grid and in salary as well. McLaren has three Daniel Ricciardo reserves, including Alpine's Oscar Piastri, on stand-by McLaren can choose from at least three drivers to replace COVID-stricken Daniel Ricciardo at the Bahrain Grand Prix, team principal Andreas Seidl said on Saturday, even though he expects the Australian to be fit in time for next weekend's Formula One season-opener. https://www.espn.com/f1/story/_/id/33484862/mclaren-three-daniel-ricciardo-reserves-including-alpine-oscar-piastri-stand-by
That could happen to anyone. Now I´m thinking about that picture supporting Ukraine, with all the drivers without a mask, and Ricciardo just in the middle... This could be funny.
That is a hard but accurate assessment. Even Hamilton two years ago, when he got Covid, he was not at his best in the first race afterwards. Perez probably took two races to get back into it. It is going to be a fascinating first race. I'm more eager for the first race than I can remember.
It's coming back, it's coming back. F1's coming back! <sung to tunes of the British soccer hymn> Hopefully after the race we get to sing another rendition of "Pizza and wine, Pizza and wine!" aka the Italian anthem.
