Just for fun as we really won't have a clue... but who do you seen top five in the first qually and the race? Qually: Lewis, Max, Chuck, George, Carlos Race: Lewis, Max, Sergio, George, Lando
I can only hope it’s a Ferrari 1-2 with Alonso and Norris taking points from Hamilton and Verstappen in the 3 and 4 spots.
this season, better mix cars up.. otherwise if more or less cars are in same order, the new cars/regulations were useless.. if the same cars are in front all the time, even with a brand new car.. then whats the point.. meaning I don't want to see at the start of a new era, Mercedes and Redull are still always in front.. I am obviously a Ferrari fan and want to see them do good. but I would be just as happy to see bottom of grid cars from 2021, near the front for 2022.
I see a car winning - with or without 'normal' side-pods. Is there a pocket to hold the - Inflight Air-Sickness bag on these cars lol
I would like a surprise win to break the monotony. So I disregard drivers from the 4 leading teams, Someone from Alpha Tauri, Aston Martin, Alpine or Williams winning the 1st GP would be completely unexpected. Gasly, Vettel, Alonso or Albon perhaps? Or Ocon? I think I will go for Gasly !!
I find it hard to believe that Mercedes will waste the last day of testing to sandbag. Waiting to show their cards until FP1 is a little too risky in my book. But, if they suddenly turn out to be very together and faster than everybody else tomorrow, I will not be surprised. Just as I won't be surprised if they suddenly have the porpoiseing under control. However, if they appear to be still struggling by the end of the day tomorrow, then I think a Ferrari or Max could win the first race. I'm not sure that any team has the cars sorted out enough to score a 1, 2. But if anyone does, again, past history points to it being Mercedes. Like it or not, Mercedes just loves to play the sandbag game. The use of lower gearing to test the engine cooling, says to me that in race set up, they have excellent choices for whatever track they are on. So how quickly could the other teams come back with their own smaller sidepods and space age cooling? I'm guessing it will be race four or even five before anything shows up...giving Mercedes three wins out of the box. Of course the mid pack teams won't care nor need to change their cars...they're only fighting each other, and they can wait until next year to incorporate the technology.
Max Charles Sainz Perez Ham* *if we are to believe Mercedes propaganda. But last year they looked awful in testing as well and won 3 out of 4 first races.
Ham max George Charles MB know what is wrong with their car. They were testing it to the limits. They will make aero and suspension tweaks and fly. There is a reason it is called testing.
