Today, March 12, 2022 is the Ferrari 75th anniversary: the Ferrari 125S leaved the Factory for the very first street test on March 12, 1947

Could be. Wheels appear to be different and the number has changed, museum picture the 3 is white, second picture is black. I was wondering because the front fender louver vents look black in the museum picture. Maybe it’s just the angle and the picture is seeing through the louvers.

No idea, I have to see the car showed at the museum in person. When I saw the Classiche Academy 308 GTBi #3 I told myself "what a mess" as it had the GTBi badge but also had carbed cars mirrors and seats.

You can see the GTBi badge in the video of the link I posted.

In the following days I will visit the exhibition and I will take dome pictures.

What I know are the details of the 208 GTB turbo showed, as I did the PPI for tge actual owner.

    Ciao

    Salute!!

    Thanks for sharing the pictures!!

That is an odd example, an early Euro injected car perhaps, with all of the early body styling cues??
Otherwise the engine hatch would make it a pre 1978 US version...

This must be about a 1981 production??
Or a mish mash of parts...LOL!

I think that car could be or a big mess of parts or a very special one. My opinion is that's a mess of parts and no more, but I will try to learm more about it.

But we must focus about this fact: there TWO 3x8 cars displayed in the 75th anniversary exhibition... ;)

TWO cars among 15 cars displayed: not bad at all!!

Without the 308 GTB family, Ferrari could went to bankrupcy and the story could have been much different: this family deserves MUCH respect and it's one of the best looking Ferrari family ever, if not the best. And the 208 GTB turbo opened the turbo era in 1982: 288 GTO was only the third model with a turbocharger, in 1984, two years later.
I think 308 GTB is a VERY important car in Ferrari history and 208 GTB turbo too.
They made more expensive and faster cars after those two, but they both are milestone in Ferrari history: no less.

    Ciao

I was signed on for that on that date but postponed it until this June.

    How did you like it?

Interesting that all, but one, have the deep front valance. Probably due to the higher speeds that these cars are going on the track.

I visited the museum and factory on the 40th anniversary of introduction of the 308. There was no acknowledgement anywhere. Certainly no 308 on display.

Now there are two: a 208 GTB turbo (in its 40th anniversary) and a 308 GTBi. They will be displayed for almost one year: up to February 2023.

    Better late than never!
