Looks like a Vostok Amphibia as worn by Steve Zissou (Bill Murray) in the film The Life Aquatic. They're still available new for about $100, good value and have a bit of a following. Rather than the Lada watch, I'd describe them as the AK47 of watches - tough and reliable. They were issued to all sorts of military in the USSR and yours looks like an old one which is interesting and has a lovely dial colour.
Just picked this up this weekend from local IWC boutique: double chrono in Ceratanium, IW371817 Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is the one watch that is always on my mind. I have never seen one in person but I am obsessed with it. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
It definitely takes a little time in getting use to the weight as compared to any other watches you might be wearing BUT you'll get use to it in only a few minutes.
I’m relatively new to this thread, but is that a new record of 2 JLCs in back to back posts on the same day?
