On my 2000 360 F1, I have the following symptoms: Every shift of gearbox results in 4-5 seconds of pump time (scan tool shows pressure drop from 50-ish to 38 bar) Running, idle, in neutral, pump runs every 15 seconds for about 4-5 seconds Fluid level in tank drops 10-12 mm during pumping, slowly returns back to level. Perhaps some loss at the slave (not certain at the moment) Disconnecting the clutch solenoid stops the above behavior Engine off, pressure remains at 50-ish bar, slowly drops over 15 minutes to 48-ish. I've already replaced the accumulator, flushed fluid and bled air. Any thoughts?

The tool reported zero for the leakage rates. At least for the parameters I found. What are the specific names?

Bad accumulator. Has no reserve pressure so the pump is trying to keep up. You can replace just the accumulator and bleed the system.

First let me say diagonisis without the proper diag tool is harder and requires a little guessing.. if the tool x431 was able to read this version of the TCU properly we could have be done in one min by looking at leakage rates So we have to base on symptoms and what was replaced already (in this case accumulator was already replaced) When a pump cycles( off time and duration)correctly with engine off key on and not correctly with engine on ..the only circuit in a 360 that is activated differently is the clutch circuit ... So if the clutch actuator is not leaking (have to check inspection window in clutch for any fluid) the most likely cause is a leaky solenoid when on (activated) Ric explains the symptoms like that .. Another thought was loose screws but that wouldn't make sense since it wasn't only happening in gear shifts Sent from my moto g power using Tapatalk
Sorry for the late follow up on this issue. After replacing a leaking line and the clutch solenoid valve, the system improved greatly, but was not fully back to what I'd consider "prime". We got it to that point and the owner came and took it away to have body work done (it was a hail-damaged car). I don't know if any more was done after, but I'll let you all know if I hear more.

I had similar problem with my F1 system. After replacing the F1 pump the accumulator and a clutch solenoid and bleeding the system the pressure was holding with the engine off for 2.43 seconds with the engine on 2 minutes. It was fine for 3 month .Yesterday the pump was circulating with the engine on every 43 seconds and with the engine off 1.43 seconds . No external leak whatsoever . Gears are shifting fine no F1 light . Not sure what else to do or where to look for the issue . Ps. The pump activates on every 3 gear change .
