Thrilled about a Ferrari renaissance. Has been a couple miserable years. Good for Ferrari, good for the sport and great for Chuck.

Also thrilled to see the close combat between the top three teams. Hoping for a good race.

And the other two bottom feeder Ferrari teams came to the front as well. Bottas deserves some glory and so does Haas, despite the fugly car livery.

The Ferrari power unit rules! The fact that McLaren, Aston and Williams are suffering while Haas, Alfa Romeo and Ferrari are all way ahead can't be just coincidence. The Ferrari power unit has made leaps and bounds! Congratulations to them for all of the hard work they've done.

Depends on how Ferrari will be able to develop the car during the season.

****ing awesome!! Lec is an absolute beauty!

Ferrari, please don’t screw up with terrible strategies tomorrow.

And wow Bottas :D think I might be cheering for him this season since he no longer drives for the silver *******s!

Max crashing into Lewis? Over the past few seasons? As far as last season went, it was Hamilton and Bottas that caused all of the crashes between them.

Max has had a history of idiotic driving, but last year he raced Hamilton the way Hamilton has raced everybody else for years. If he races us dirty, then turnabout is fair play in my book.

I'm very curious to see what happens with the cars with a full tank.

Also will they be able to follow each other as promised.

What will happen with Leclerc and Verstappen, things could get messy, Charles is not a back down driver.

If we get this performance parity between Ferrari and red bull, and Mercedes improves it can be an interesting season, with hopefully Sainz at the top of the standings at the end of the year.

It's been MORE than a couple miserable years... the last time they were close to the championship was with Alonso, and only because of him, the car was still ****.

Chuck and Max are young and quick but they are also "big picture" drivers that know it's a long season and they won't do anything stupid.

Very telling that Charles described his Quali driving a bit messy and still got pole. The car is beautiful and has pace; very hopeful for tomorrow, we just need to survive turn 1. Forza Ferrari.

For me, last year was like 94'. You had a British driver who was outclassed by their rival all season, and had outside political factors which made the title go down to the final race, when the reality was that like Damon Hill, Hamilton had no business being tied on points with Max with a shot at winning the WDC. He hadn't earned it at all for a multitude of reasons, I'm too sick and tired of going over for 10,000 time. The right driver won in both instances.

I also always love to see someone win their first race or championship, no matter who they are. I'll always be a Ferrari fan, but I loved seeing Alonso break our streak and win his first title.

    I'm a race fan first.

Without the Lewis cheerleader narrative, would Sky even bother to cover races without Ham? :p

All weekend, Sky was still hoping Ham would make a miraculous comeback.
(Too used to Merc "party more"?)

Sounds like ALL the drivers are still trying to get the hang of the "new", much changed cars.
