Chicago express docked in port of NY today. I’m guessing another 4 weeks between customs and delivery to dealer.

 

The Chicago Express is finally docked!

 

You guys are gonna have one hell of a spring!!!

 

Let’s hope that since it’s been slow the offloading takes less time and Ferrari processing is quick …….

When starting the order process, who would have thought we'd have more clicks on vesselfinder.com than ESPN in March?

You think so? I thought customs was 2-4 weeks tops then off to dealer which usually takes 7-10 days to transport since I'm southeast.

 

It depends how long it takes to get through the pdi process in NJ. Could be a week, could be a month for delivery to dealer

 

Yes. Hopefully if there have been no other ships coming in due to the port for 30 days or so at least there would be no backlog on Ferraris end. How many cars (Ferrari) come in on a typical ship to port at time nowadays ? It’s an interesting Fermi problem.


So now it depends on where in line you’re offloaded.

Average time in port in NY is 1.6 days. So CE should be done today.

I was in Italy last month it was still a hot mess over there.

 

CE left Newark now headed for CT. Hopefully fast turn around between customs and PDI!

I live in italy for 3 months a year for the past 12 years Covid has taken a huge toll on everyday life nothing is same example they have a (green pass) if you go out they scan your pass at any restaurant ,shop, eat or drink if you test positive your pass turns red with a data base and so does everyone in your family that lives in your house the entire household is in quarantine as well any where you went to shop, eat ,drink those peoples green pass turns red and must test to clear,Police stopped me multiple times in the street to check my green pass status All businesses were destroyed.This affected all supply , labor, economy , The green pass will be canceled 3/31/22 , Nothing in the US came close to these kinds of controls

 

Dealer just checked status no update

The Chicago Express crew must be getting paid by the hour. Now it’s anchored off Virginia.

 

Looks like the CMA CGM Dalila arrived a day early to NY (arrived today at 18:00 versus original ETA of March 21 at 11:00). Let's see how long it takes to unload and go through customs and other formalities.

 

How much time should it take to clear customs & get on a truck to the dealer?

 

I’m trying to get confirmation my F8 Spider is indeed on this ship. H
