Driving up Temple Hills to Top of the World (my neighborhood). It happened fast but I waived heading downhill in my Lotus. Anyone here?

    Hello neighbor,
Didn't get a good look at yours but looked really nice from what I saw! Since I haven't seen it around before I assume it's a recent purchase? If so congrats!
Funny, I thought it was one of my sons schoolmates' dad's car so when I saw him the other day at the park I told him "Nice 308 GT4" and he replied "what's that?" LOL

I bought the gt4 a month ago, and I love it. But…already had someone hit it in the parking garage at oak st. , not too bad but it was 3 days after I got it. Then two weeks in it got stuck in 1st gear. And in my driveway it sits!

Oh no! Sorry to hear that! Look forward to seeing it around. I've got the white Lotus Evora you might see.

Did you try giving it a little motion in 1st to loosen up up - roll it forward then try to shift out?

Those are great pics, thanks. I finally got the car out of first gear and working again. It’s been really great driving it. So much fun.

Great, nice to look at but even better to drive.
BTW, my Lotus Evora 400 pictured is a descendent. It's also 2+2, transverse mid-engine and somewhat the black sheep in the Lotus family (not everyone in the Lotus community loves the looks but those that do really do). The engine is 6-cyl though.
