Best way to get confirmation is to ask your dealer when the car was showing that it shipped (I may be wrong; however, do not believe that the dealers have access to the name of the boat the cars ship on). If it shipped around March 3 then it was most likely on the CMA CGM Dalila. I believe the next boat was the Vienna Express which left around March 10. I am located in The Woodlands (just outside Houston).

Correct, it does not get priced until it is picked up by Ferrari North America once it arrives in the US. All the dealer can give you at this point is an estimate. There is a price increase which I believe hits on April 1 but they are now including Apple
When the car clears customs and is in FNA custody they get an email. That email alerts them. Until that email the car stays 90. After that email it is 91. Once they have the email they get the Mulroney and they can send to you or unveil at delivery. Either way this process is killing me. At least those of us who are 90 or more at this point will have our cars for summer. Of course I’m Florida and maybe Texas, summer is NOT convertible weather. Too hot. Yes, AppleCar Play ..... but not wireless for the F8. I understand that the inclusion of AppleCar Play is for those that ordered it as an option prior to the April 1 builds and will be included automatically for those built after April 1.
Will the price increase apply to all cars delivered after April 1st, or only those build after? Another possibility I heard was that cars that fall in the window of those build before April 1st but delivered after, if affected by the price increase, apple car play could in fact be installed at the FNA facilities once they arrive before delivery. Will have to wait and see which one is it. Apparently from port, cars could be transferred to the FNA facilities before dealership, not sure if this is always the case. Keep us updated on your experiences..
My understanding is that the price increase applies to all cars received by FNA on / after April 1. Agree that we will need to wait and see how this all plays out.
Is the increase a % or likely just included in the base MSRP before options? On another note does anyone have input on Alcantara carpet? I wanted door sill area in leather as the carpet on my 488 GTB always felt cheap to me but outside TM it wasn’t an option so I was able to get Alcantara & felt it would ultimately look better, on the exposed surface of the door sill, over carpet but I’ve never seen it & the photos I have been able to find are not easy to discern the difference. I have every leather option possible but this was the only solution for that area. Any input would be appreciated.
Will look nice. Was discouraged because of wear but all who have in PISTA etc say it wears well. Have the ultra suede version in my GTS so we will see. The alcantara provides a nice contrast without necessarily a different color and can also mute the color contrast when bold colors are used as in many Pista. Should be a nice touch. I live in the burbs a little north of Dallas. I'm not sure FNA has/shares clear information on the specific ship a car is placed on, but you can generally deduce based on the date your car changes to order status 90. If early Feb, it was the Chicago Express; ~Mar. 2/3 would be the CMA CGM Dalila; and Mar. 11-13 would be the Vienna Express. While it was a painfully long wait for many of us to progress from 85 to 90 status, I know of someone taking delivery today of their car believed to come off the OOCL Europe (which arrived in NY Feb. 28). If that's accurate, it would indicate customs clearance and delivery is running efficiently. Fingers crossed...
My dealer sent me an updated configuration today & my status is still 90 as of today as well. I was hoping my F8S was on the CMA CGM Delila but it looks like I’m on the 3rd ship still sailing or maybe a team of squirrels is rounding the alps with it right now!
Did options/equipment change from your original spec and whatdoes it show for MSRP, Shipping and other topline charges? My F8 is status 40 and wondering what the additional MSRP and transport charges area that reflect proce increases and CarPlay addition. Thanks
I’m still status 90 so I haven’t received final MSRP but mine is as close to TM as you can get & heavily optioned so I had already added CarPlay so I’m wondering if I’ll get a credit as I’ve seen this with other manufacturers. I should receive it soon & will update the chat when I do
@ScottS, I should be seeing my F8S next month or May latest, or so I’m told from FOCF. I’m at the dealer this coming Monday for a brake recall fix on the 458 and will seek more information on delivery. It’s been a long wait (Jan 2021 order), but worthwhile, and luckily I’ve got other drivers. Ironically, the STO, which is now in extreme short supply, was received in less than 9 months from deposit - go figure. I’m not that far north of you, and we are awaiting completion of The Motor Enclave later this year.
Long and longer times more common. Not sure their timelessness will hold in this new situation. At least it will be before summer. The enclave should be good. What’s the timeline there?
Enclave aiming for October / November completion of the track and Phase I, which I believe includes our unit. Of course that could change for any number of unforeseen reasons. Fit outs are all handled individually, you’re essentially buying a box in a commercial building.
