Gap between Charles and Max was 5 seconds at best.
Absolutely no comparison with 2014-2015-2016 and so on.
There is a big difference between a car with 1 tenth advantage per lap and a car with 1 or 1,5 seconds advantage per lap.
Ferrari and Red Bull were practically equal today.

Amen....both cars had parity.....it really boils down to the drivers and what we saw today was 2 highly skilled race-craft drivers go wheel-to-wheel.....it was obvious Leclerc out drove Max.

So what you are saying is the most decorated driver can't win unless he is in the best car

Yep...I guess the toughts and prayers from the Mercedes team willed the RBR fuel pumps to fail with a couple of laps to go so they can inherit a podium.

    What a bizarre statement.

I probably missed it, but did ham also thank the fans without whom he couldn't have overcome long covid and other tremendous adversity he faced while driving the slowest car on the grid that he could have won with if his team hadn't pitted him so early and put him in a pack of drivers that are just dangerous, man?

Just a guess, but i would guess he is thanking his team for making a car that can complete the race distance.

No point having the fastest car if your cant do the race distance, Ask Redbull and Max.

Do we have new rules for wheel to wheel, max didnt dive bomb any one off track...

Hamilton became the first F1 driver to appear on the podium for 16 consecutive years. Who has the second longest record?

Hold up.guys, didn't Nico win in the "best car" in 2016.

I realize he didn't want to play 2nd fiddle anymore so he got what he wanted.

Very humble. Very approachable. I loved the f40 review. His workings with rimac are very cool too going through the factory revealing that they are working with other auto manufacturers... Pretty cool. His production value is amazing. Just seems like a quality dude.

Lewis was in the best car and had every advantage over Nico. #2 driver gets second choice on strategy and equipment. You think Merc suddenly said 'sorry, Lewis' and built the car around Nico because he didn't want to play 2nd fiddle anymore? Just too much! :D
