And for a pendant like myself, small details such as this would drive me nuts. The base plate for the F1 paddle has been left behind instead of replacing the whole cowling. The trim around the gear stick isn’t right either (compare pic with original). It’s had other trim mods eg carbon fibre bits which is fine if you like that sort of thing. Price is very strong, I would have thought high $200k

Agree, parts are out there but hard to find and $$$. Also engine ECU's need to be re-flashed to suit the manual shift. There is a lot of detail stuff that needs to be done to do it properly, IMHO not worth the effort.

Like I said, I don't blame them for doing it but the easier option would be to just avoid buying the car in the first place if you don't like F1.

In that case, the real price has a 1 in front of it. The ad should have made it plain that it was converted. What's the world coming to, if you can't trust a car dealer?

It's in there but it's the usual dumb ad from Oldtimer, lots of useless historical guff, so by the time your down to the important bits, you've probably stopped reading

"When the current owner acquired this car in 2020 it was ‘just’ another typical Ferrari 575M. It was a low mileage, highly optioned car in excellent condition equipped with its factory "F1" automated manual gearbox. With the help of Ferrari specialist Marc Jones from Enzotech in Caboolture, he decided to go on the journey of converting the car to a traditional manual 6 speed gearbox. The work was of course completed using all genuine Ferrari parts. It was completed in 2021 and except for a few very small details the car now presents as if it was delivered with a traditional manual gearbox from the factory."

And it begs the question, buy the car in 2020, convert it in 2021, sell in 2022. WTF is wrong with it?

Owner probably never intended to keep it and thought that by converting it he'd rake in some easy $

When it first arrived I read it all and don't see a problem with the explanation and it's appearance.....at least Mark disclosed what had been changed on the car! :(

Totally agree with the history, that's why when I look at his adds I scroll straight down to the car in question stuff.

FFS if you've chosen a particular car to look at you should already know the history otherwise you,as a proper car enthusiast, wouldn't have chosen that one to look at in the first place FFSx2.

Totally agree. It gives me the clits when an ad starts banging on about the history of Ferrari and telling me Enzo's story from birth etc.
And then the history of the model of car from the moment it was someone's dream.

    Whom gives a fuch?

Just tell me about the actual car you're trying to flog off to me, FFS.
Otherwise it looks like you're trying to hide the fact that the actual car is an overpriced modified hot-rod, sale-proof, POS.
