Agree on many points here and it clearly is smart marketing by them. Had a similar conversation when the sf90 came but this seems a little different. I have an ok history but certainly dwarfed my many others so I think you are right. I clearly didn’t make it the 812c or a land and that’s 1500 units. I thought the jury was still out on the GTS and if everyone who wants one will actually get it…hope they do as it’s a brilliant car[/QUOTE]

I don’t think everyone was able to get a GTS or a tributo. Anyone could order it but many ppl still want it and now it’s 100k over msrp

Look … the 812 GTS was introduced in 2019. Of course people raising their hand for it 3 YEARS LATER are going to have difficulty getting a new factory spec car, as there are 3 YEARS worth of orders already in the system and the vehicle is approaching the end of its production window. But pretty much anyone who ordered the car within a year after launch was able to get one.

The takeaway? If you want the Purosangue you can in all likelihood get one. You just have to raise your hand now or within 2 or 3 months of launch / official public reveal. As with any new Ferrari model, the longer you wait, the more orders will be ahead of you, and at some point, the entire production run order book gets filled up and then you’re out of luck because they never ring a bell to announce no more orders taken.

In one of the previous posts Marcel said " ….right now the factory has 27'000 signed/firm orders, they need to build these 27'000 cars first, that's almost three years of production (3 times 10'000 = 30'000)."
I assume that the total of orders for three years that Marcel mentioned are for other models and not for the Purosangue. Therefore, in order for Ferrari to secure future orders for the Purosangue, which will be substantial, within an acceptable timeframe it will have somehow to increase considerably the current production of 10,000 cars per year.

    Yes, correct.
And those 27'000 firm orders are NOT any SUV's. Those 27'000 units are "stock standard" GT cars such as Romas, 296's, Portofinos, a couple Iconas and 812 C/A, etc. Nothing to do with the upcoming FUV/SUV/PS, whatever.

Is there official word that they are planning to increase this production capacity? Having to wait three years for a car is Trabant levels of waiting time almost (OK, Trabant had like 10 years but really...it is too long), and considering that they are closing order books faster than you can spell Ferrari is also frustrating for people saving up when they cannot get the car they want anymore (Portofino M was blink and you miss it production time (likely shortened so they can move all current cars to the new interior though, who knows) and according to another post the Roma coupe might also be closed soon to make way for the Spider, which directly affects me (I need at least another year of saving) and annoys the hell out of me, assuming this is true). So yeah, please tell me they are upping this really really soon...

That's the result after turning the picture brighter. The front of this red Purosangue is identical to the one of the car shown in the leaked pictures.

We can’t help but to combine what was leaked before and now this - and on that basis- it does appear to have a handsome look. Curious to see more!
