Hey folks, so it's been a while since I've popped my head in here. I'm the poor sucker who took his 308 to a shop, and the shop absconded with the car, moved out, and my car-along with several other peoples cars-wound up down in BFE Ohio in pieces. Well, I eventually recovered the chassis with no drivetrain, and then a month later, got the rest of it back in literal pieces. And then insurance wouldn't do **** cause technically nothing was stolen. All of this on a car I've driven precisely once. Sometimes the bear gets you. Anyway, since then, I did a full rebuild myself on the suspension, brakes, and steering rack. And my local shop that specializes in Italian vintage cars took on the car. They have started the engine/trans rebuild, and sorting what parts we have, and what's needed. It looks like I got everything back, except the housing for the water pump/thermostat. I'm wondering if any kind folks on here may have a line on this part? Let me know if so. Thanks for any leads.

I was just in Phoenix and paid my usual visit to Bill at GT car parts. I too was in need of a pump housing for my 308. I followed Bill to a big rack in the back of the shop where he poked thru 20 or so before handing me a “good” one lol.

Give him a call he’s got 19 more for sure ;)

I gotta go see him one of these days. It's been 23 years and I do not know what he looks like.

Thanks! Yea, the only unit on ebay doesnt have the thermostat housing, and frankly, I've had some dicey experiences buying esoteric auto parts on ebay, so I'd rather go with something verified by you fine folks here.

That's a decent collection of spares. It's interesting that you've got a pile of warmup regulators, those are expensive buggers!
