Apparently the email was sent to VIP customers and above. Signing a pre-order is the next step as already done by our friend PPG above
Jerry I agree with you. However, based on other previous models whose first unofficial photos were disappointing, I hope that the final product will be much more aesthetically appealing than the version we've seen in the leaked pictures and on the above brighter image.
Same…early am delivery. My dealer knew it was coming and texted me earlier this week but no real details yet. I just hope the wheel arches look better than the leaked photo. With that said, having a proper four door, four seat v12 Ferrari to run around with friends in….sign me up.
A guy we had breakfast with at the weekend claimed he has ordered one of the V12 vesions and it should be the second one in the UK ! His dealer is HR Owen in London. I did not press him on it.
Deposit was in 2days ago for v12. Other than the engine, no info was given. Well, at least it is v12… Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I hope everyone here has understood the marketing approach which is identical to that of the 812 gts. We let you think that only the privileged will be able to obtain it, so as to arouse interest. Obviously, all those who want one will have it. The least possible here, I hope...
I don't think so, it's so huge, an elephant in a hallway ! I'm respectful of everyone's choices, but I really have a hard time digesting it. It has no connection with the history of the brand, no sporting vocation by far exceeding 2 tons, and a Cayenne will do the same job for a third party price. Another time, another brand.
I'm referring to creating the idea that it's exclusive and hard to get. I'm not ready to kill it or over it until I see some real pics.
You could say the same thing about any Ferrari … there are other cars that do the same thing for 1/3rd the price. Doesn’t seem to hurt sales of those cars. To further the argument … a Ferrari has always been about more than its stats … why would the Ferrari of SUVs be any different? Weren’t mid-engine V8s a departure from the very first models? So if I’m a Ferrari fan and enjoy the sports cars, and I wanted a sporty but comfy convertible why wouldn’t I want the Ferrari of GT convertibles? So if I want or need a small SUV in my life with four doors, why is it such sacrilege for that to be a Ferrari? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I saw this when the other leaked image came out. I do really like the look of the rear and I think this will carry over to the production model.
interior images that show "Roma" on the dash and images that have no reflection in the windows behind...
Any insider intel that can be shared on what the V12 HP will be? North of that in the 812C? Hope they don't add GPF and dilute the natural stunning sound of the V12!
Unless they completely remove GDI and switch the engine to use MPI, GPF will sadly be required to meet strict EU particulate regulations. In other words, GPF will be part of every Ferrari road-going product forever more as they are not going to remove gasoline-direct-injection (GDI) from their engines. As for HP I expect it to be less than the 812c and probably less than the 812GTS, around 750bhp would be my guess (and non-hybrid at first, and with hybrid maybe 850bhp). I am thinking less HP because the Lusso V12 was quite a bit less than the F12 engine it was based upon.
