After his plane was hit and he was forced to eject, a Navy fighter pilot finally regained consciousness. He was in a hospital in a lot of pain. He found himself in the ICU with tubes/IV drips in both arms, a breathing mask, wires monitoring every function and a nurse hovering over him looking worried. It was obvious he was in a life-threatening situation. The nurse gave him a serious look, straight into his eyes. Knowing he was not only a fighter pilot, but a Sailor too, she spoke to him, softly and slowly, enunciating each word: "You may not feel anything from the waist down." Somehow, he managed to mumble in reply, "Can I feel your tits, then?" And that, my friends, is a real positive attitude.

How's this for flying? I guess you have to fly pretty low to dodge a Russian SAM, but taking out a road sign? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thats our boy from HK? I've heard of Gazza parking close to a Surf Club! but ........THAT close ? Imagine if they let him loose in a 4 engine 747 !
Trawling through old pics to find the one of Gary’s parking effort I found this one taken just after we landed at Thistle Island, circa 2008 in a good mates Cessna 414A. That was a really nice aircraft. We did Birdsville races, all over the east coast of Oz, and many other great trips in that. There with my dear mum only a couple of years before she passed, and her husband who just passed away last month. And my idiot friend whom was probably already on his 10th beer by the time we landed! He refused to get on the aircraft as it only has two engines, so Gary brought him in the 747. Image Unavailable, Please Login
