Can either Ferrari come out ahead of the RedBull?? Can Max pull out ahead??? Will the safety car(s) be an issue?? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Good news: today we can watch the race without worrying about any missile attacks; a three day ceasefire was announced by the Houthis yesterday, so that is a relief and allows to concentrate on the racing. Let's just hope for a safe race with no injuries, drivers are saying the work to improve visibility was not sufficient and this remains a very dangerous and fast track slower only than Monza, like a funnel with too many blind corners. The idea of putting screens is a band aid, what if a screen freezes? These cars are entirely different to drive due to the downforce and also the narrow sidewalls of the high profile tires which are less forgiving than what they had before. The sudden loss of downforce over the curbs was I believe a factor in the Mick crash while Latifi's was quite possibly caused by the more treacherous nature of these tires.

Safety car periods seem inevitable(regrettably). Any predictions? I think there will be two safety car periods. Those with sets of new softs may shuffle the order. Hoping for great racing and a safe race.
Repairs should be exempt from budget. So you are reduced to 1 car and cannot repair it. Really? Pinnacle?? There has to be some flexibility for needed items. Steiner: Rush job to fix Schumacher’s F1 car risked Australia hopes Haas boss Gunther Steiner says a rush job to fix Mick Schumacher’s car for Formula 1’s Saudi Arabian Grand Prix risked derailing his team’s prospects for the next race.
Yes please if anyone has a working link please post it that would be very appreciated. I actually went to see my computer geek last week about getting a VPN but it is getting to be a hassle, F1 should be visible for free by all.
So no setup change for Hamilton, I wonder if he’ll be able to get in the Top 10 with his qualifying setup.
Would you want to still use a chassis that suffered such a heavy impact though ? Is there anything to salvage from that wreck?
I expect a thrilling race with Lewis steadily picking his way through the field, as he has proven he is able to do so many times in the past, culminating in a glorious podium finish if not an outright win and further cementing his legacy as the greatest formula one driver of all time.
I understood he wanted to make some change, at the risk of incurring a "parc férmé" penalty and starting from the pit lane? Have they changed their mind at Mercedes?
I was thinking the team should be allowed to repair / replace to have a working race car and not be penalized. They gave the STUPID sprint races a repair budget.
Sainz: Fridays will now be more experimental after pace improvement Carlos Sainz Jr will be more “experimental” during Friday free practice sessions at future races following the Ferrari Formula 1 driver’s upturn in qualifying speed in Saudi Arabia.
I believe having a spare car is not allowed, and building a car from a spare chassis (if that is allowed, I don't know), takes time.
