we were following Perez and ultimately followed max. RB are masters at development-Ferrari traditionally hasn’t been.
Meh. He finished 40 seconds behind his teammate and nearly a full lap behind the winner, and the bulk of the positions he gained by the end were a result of retirements in front of him. Lewis has a LOT of work to do.
Hate that f$*$*$g camera. Charles going for the dive. Blurry useless camera footage of Max's red lights flashing.
Very hard to watch the helmet cam. Bouncy, blurry and reflective. Don't know how the drivers handle that.
Charles outsmarted Max a bit but Max learned pretty quickly - he pulled the tricks too early and Max figured him out and made the pass. Great race to watch, ferrari leading both championships and looks like both rb and ferrari are strong at all tracks. I don't see mercedes getting back into this fight while it still matters.
He certainly has class, maybe even a tad too much. But a great driver he is. Good to see Ferrari back where they belong. The cars and the racing seem to be far more interesting than in the past 8 years.
We didn't win this one but 2 and 3 and a lead in the championship...plus really close racing and a split second finish...I can't complain. If we win either championship this year, it will be a good hard fought for win.
A bit sad that Chuck didn’t win, but I have to say he matured a lot over the course of the last season, he’s a smarter racer than Max in my opinion. Unfortunately Max was able to get quite a bit closer during the VSC. One thing I dislike about this new regulations is how insanely overpowered the DRS is. I hate that it seems like it is even more of push to overtake racing than it was under the old regulations. Can’t imagine how Baku and Monza will turn out with this years DRS
That was such a close race... Gap between Max and Charles at the finish line was .5 of a second. Really a thriller to watch. I think it would have been more close if Stroll and Albon didn't have their incident in the dying stages of the race.
Hamilton really got screwed by the VSC. I see LEC as buddy buddy with Verstappen, im curious to see if they come to HAM-VER levels of toxicity later in the season.
Pretty much. Shades of Vettel after the new rules in 14', and Riccardo pounded him into the ground. Russel might just start doing that to Ham.
Awesome race!! Too bad we didn't win but double podium never a bad thing- Besides its all my fault since I wore the Tag Heuer for Carrera weekend- Sorry guys- my bad Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nah, they've got nothing at all to say today. Lewis' forgettable performance this race was 100% in favor of "the haters" having been right all along.
Probably just a matter of time. All drivers get nasty when the a championship is on the line, and every inch makes the difference between winning and losing.
