Anyone replace their leaking rear shocks? My 2011 Cali was at the dealer for its annual service and the only other item they found was leaking rear shocks, the quote to replace them was pretty high.

Wish I could help - just got my 2011. Any independent garages in your area?

    Did it myself, very easy.
Dealer want 13000 parts and labor.

Brought two rebuild ones from RMT for around 1000 shipped.

Works as original. didn't find a difference.

Good tip. May I ask how many miles on your Cali T? I just bought a 2011 Cali - has 22k miles. Wondering how long the shocks are supposed to last.

11 with 20k miles ., has mageride ..Its not how much miles that cause the leak.. its how LITTLE miles it causes it to leak. The shocks are not constantly moving up and down that causes the seal to dry up and crack.

Got it. Mine are has barely been driven by the 5 prior owners. I plan on using it going forward. Just bought at end of January - even in KS - have already put almost 2,000 miles on it.

Had same issue at around 20k miles, expensive repair at the dealership for sure.

It took me about 1.5 hr per-side using jack and regular mechanic tools.

If you bring it to a mechanic / Ferrari specialist I would assume they can get it done within 3 hours or less. don't let them charge you 20 hours labor.
