yes it is a tremendous opportunity.
the import issues are really not that scary - especially if you have a competent agent doing the paperwork and shipping.

Interesting. The market for non-cat cars is bigger than I thought.

You can also replace the bladders with aluminum tanks if you wish https://www.bellsportandclassic.co.uk/service/ferrari-f40-fuel-tank-replacement/ [no affiliation]

    Correct.

We typically use https://www.carseurope.net/car-air-freight/ and they do everything very competently.

At this point every production F40, both cat and non-cat, can imported into the USA.

Fabulous Eu F40 we sold a client which we did final inspection on today, this car has the composite materials weave apparent on every panel which is unusual, new ATL bladders have just been installed plus a full major service completed. As specialists for these we not only source some of the very best examples, we also remain as a technical resource and work closely with the authorized Ferrari concessionaire to ensure they are well looked after and therefore operate as they should.

The European F40 is just much more prettier than the USA spec. Perfect.

    Indeed they are purer.

There was a USA example nearby at Ferrari Newport Beach and all the differences in detail are really significant.

Aftermarket LM style, that and the Prancing horse in the front grille are a simple reversal.

Non-cat, non-adjust. The prettiest of all. Like Enzo intended.

I had no idea these were Bruno's images as they've been in my archive for at least 5 years as supplied to me by a different source, anyway Bruno's copyright duly acknowledged.

Our filter makes vintage images better so you can actually see the details of low-resolution or poor quality images better.

By the way I have a prolific image library of F40 and Supercar images in generally taken by me over the past 35 years and posted in different venues, whenever I see someone using my images (which is often nowadays and can't realistically be controlled) I take it as a compliment.

Nice piece, I feel sure some will wish it had been filmed in the daytime.
