So back on topic, the US dealers are now taking deposits.
The chassis does not determine the vehicle. From a form factor perspective it’s an SUV. Which means it’s a truck. Unless you don’t consider an SUV a truck. But that’s just rationalizing. If it’s a unibody chassis it’s still a SUV/truck. If it’s a crossover it’s still a SUV/truck. I’m a supporter of its existence and believe it will be a tremendous product. I won’t refer to it as a truck either in polite society but between us …
Yes, and I predict Ferrari will make 1,000,000 Purosangues because that's what I think even though I have no basis for this assumption whatsoever. But since Rolex makes 1 million watches a year Ferrari will do the same because I understand something nobody else does. Furthermore I will answer other posters with patronizing comments and insert the odd caps lock just to make myself clear. Because we're chatting, even though it's mainly me answering bombastically. What a great addition to the thread I am.
This thread of Ferrari Chat forum is about the up and coming SUV/FUV can you please keep your posts on track to that topic.. I would hate for you to get a possible ban from this thread. All the Best
Amen & hallelujah! You've just channeled my inner most thoughts and dreams! [emoji2] Image Unavailable, Please Login By the way, the PS is not a truck. This is a truck. At least here in Texas. [emoji6] T
My dealer said US$350k base price. That would put it in the $450+ range with V12 and options I would suspect.
You're trolling. 7-day exclusion from this thread. Please use this time to browse elsewhere, reconsider how you interact with fellow members in this thread, and don't mockingly call others "bruh". All the best, Andrew.
Well that was interesting. I have what could be a dumb question. (Yes, there is such a thing as a dumb question) Why not create/build a real desert racing machine? Like the LM002? Now hear me out. What if Ferrari with its deep racing heritage did what Ford did with the GT? What if they built a real desert racing machine and cleaned house with the Baja or Dakar etc. Then sold a civilian version? Would that change people’s thoughts or feelings about a Ferrari SUV if it was derived from an actual racing vehicle? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Would love it. Porsche Cayenne Transsybyria on mega-steroids! I read that they used a 599 GTB to offroad in South America. https://www.motortrend.com/reviews/ferrari-599-gtb-fiorano-panamerican/amp/ I thought I once read about a similar 599 GTB tour of China, but can't find. I assume that this thing will be AWD or 4WD. Has that been confirmed? Has anyone read about whether it'll have adjustable ride height and such for moderate off-roading? T
The majority clientele for a fashion "FUV" are not concerned about desert racing victories. Assume Ferrari made a product for the casual (and wealthy) fanbase of Netflix's Drive to Survive - that's the Purosangue in regular production trim. I.e. people who are more interested in the glitz, glamour, drama of motorsport than the actual sport of racing. If Ferrari were to have made rear wheel drive variant, I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up selling nearly the same volume globally. The markets where four wheel drive is a dealbreaker are very small in the big picture of things. The Lusso was not crossover enough and lacked the rear doors to fully infiltrate this market.
exactly the reason why this isn't needed. everyone getting into the suv/crossover space is doing so because they sell like hotcakes but rollers and ferraris at 400k+ isn't going to change the bottom line that much
I know it’s only a slight shot of the side profile but those wheels look to fit the arches better than earlier shots. It looks to be sitting lower?
For a designer you have a weird definition of trucks. A truck is a commercial vehicle used for the transportation of goods. The Purosangue is a car that happens to sit slightly higher; a crossover if anything.
Is that for the V12 model? Wow - if that is the case - I can't believe the Chairman approved. Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
It looks preety cool on the road. Lot's of presence, just like a Ferrari should have. I'll give them that
