Well the vultures were instantly out after I made that post, and started receiving well over asking price bids. It’s been shipped to its new owner overseas.

I do have another, but going to hang onto it for the time being. If & when I decide to sell, it’ll be offered to the great community here first.

Best of luck on your search.

    Cheers! [emoji1303]

I’m not sure I understand your question? Every buyer and seller I have done a deal with on this forum has been nothing but great.

I received your PM, yes. The wheel was already sold. Your PM was late to the game.

It’d be nice to see a pic of it as I have a NOS I wouldn’t take $20k for. Let’s see some pics.

I was saying, why associate the term vulture in a transaction where buyer and seller agree, it's out of place... or unless you want to reverse the roles, i.e. take advantage of the scarcity of the product to artificially increase your offer but this is opportunism

In this case he's just meaning that people were circling to make a deal. Nothing negative about the use of the word vulture in context. He could have also used "the sharks were circling" or something like that too.

    He wasn't being negative.

And if I had an item listed for $5000 and someone wanted to give me $7000, I'd take that instantly.

In all deal, we must be fast and employ the good words, all words have sens, so we must use them for avoiding misunderstandings, sorry for my English, I try to be understanding, I’m french

All of this nonsense, because I didn’t respond to your late PM (compared to others) and addressed / updated everyone within this thread after a deal was already complete? GOOD LORD!

& BJ, thank you. You’re correct, I meant absolutely nothing negative towards anyone using the term vultures. At least someone understood the context.

Still no Pic of the said wheel on this thread. Maybe the new owner can post it once he gets it. Being as rare as these things are, it'll be good to see the condition and quality.

    I should just laugh but,

What would make you think I’m concerned with yours or anyone else’s doubts at this point?

The buyer can certainly share the photos provided if he wishes to please the peanut gallery. If he’s anything like me, maybe he won’t out of principle. As you can tell, I don’t respond well to self entitlement of those I am not personally dealing with.

Thank you to everyone for the initial interest/PMs. The deal is completed, I’m finished with this topic. Have a blessed weekend.

He never said "you" should or are or were concerned about any doubts or anyone's doubts. It's interesting that that's how you read his comment.
