Who are they??
It's interesting...I supported Lewis in the early days. My support ended when he started acting like an NBA player/global social justice warrior instead of a race driver. I don't think I'm alone in that opinion...
You are not, especially knowing that his success was mostly down to his team and seeing how he treated them on the radio.
Team sport f1, take the teams away and none of the drivers will even have a car to race in... He treats his team better than the newest * champion.
Max was given the championship. Nico beat him and retired. Button out scored him once. 7 world championships. Beat Alonso as rookie. 103 wins.
Go add up the points Button and Hamilton each scored over the 3 years they were teammates. You'll find that Button outscored McLewis.
you mean just like how schumacher quit ferrari because he was scared of facing Kimi Raikonnen in his prime? Having his entire career based on number 2 drivers you can see why. We all know how rosberg vs schumacher worked out… lewis has nothing to prove he’s faced the best and beat them
The attempt to rewrite history here is hilarious. 1. Max did not have an inferior car. If you count up the races as to who had the faster car at any given track it was even. Lewis’s car was more unreliable though as he had to take more engine penalties. Max also received much favourable treatment from stewards and was gifted the title. Hollow win. 2. Russell has beaten Hamilton in one qualifying session where Lewis gambled on set up. Qualy 1 and race 1 Lewis had the measure of George. Race 2 Lewis was also as fast as George was on new tyres on his 30 lap old hards lol. How anyone can reach the conclusion from this that George is dominating Lewis I have no idea… Yes George is a great driver having something like a 60-1 qualy record against team mates and one of the most impressive junior careers of all time and he’s up against an aging Lewis who is theoretically past his prime. I still expect Lewis to win because Lewis is the GOAT and I enjoy watching him have this sort of competition. No other driver in f1 history has had the team mate competition he’s had
If you want to be honest ( and I know it's difficult for you) , you have to quote ALL the stats, not only the ones you like. Over 3 years, Hamilton won 10 GPs and had 20 podiums, against 7 GPs and 15 podiums for Button.
So you are not really watching what happens on the track, and you are more interested by the gossip column. I thought so ...
To be fair, you're the one that keeps saying this particular stat is a lie. But it's 100% true. Button scored more points than Hamilton during their tenure as teammates. That's a fact, Jack. I'm sure Lewis had more hair transplants than Button, too, but points are how we keep score in F1.
I never said it was a lie, I said it wasn't the full story. You are uncapable of fairness. If you only quote the stats that support your opinion, but not the rest, you are dishonest. It would be easier for you to say "I don't like Hamilton", that attacking his records.
Ahem, you also keep citing the stats that support your opinion and call the rest lies. I don't mind because it's just banter, but don't be a hypocrite about it.
I also talked about his driving skills. His dominance is only due to having the best car. Put all the ATGs in equal cars, and he won't even make the top 3.
I see you speak hysterical uneducated nonsense Go study the personal self-esteem issues of LdM and his subsequent misguided decisions re: Todt and Schumacher. Then report back to us.
Laughable. The facts are literally that ferrari signed Kimi for 2007 and told Michael he wouldn’t get preferential treatment anymore. So instead of facing Kimi, he quit. which is sad in a way because he would’ve destroyed Kimi but clearly was only comfortable versing much inferior drivers with a clear number 1 status. which of course Lewis has never had which makes him the better and more tested driver
Absolutely wrong. Michael left at the end of 2006 because : 1/ He was exhausted by Formula one seasons. 2/ He didn’t want to penalize Massa in his career.
+100 He was so impressive in GP2 and in his first year (2007) So likeable as a driver. What a waste !
So you didn't do your thorough research If you had bothered you'd also discover that LdM sacked Todt in '06 but Michael stepped up and prevented. Such loyalty in F1 is ultra rare. PS. Welcome to FerrariChat
