Guys, all I have to say is if you do not have a tune through Trevor yet, I highly recommend it!! It is hands down the best mod for the 360!! It literally transforms the car into something else. I had that mediocre Fabspeed tune, literally night & day!! No offense Fabspeed, not trying to bash you but the tune I had was not cutting it!! IMO, you should have your Fabspeed 360 tuned by Trev & realize the difference!! I am very sure, who all have gotten a tune through Trev can back me up here.

Hats off to you Trevor! Truly magnificent to see the car come alive after his magical tune!!!

Thanks so much for such nice comments... Always love to do "shock and awe" stuff like this. Really difficult to describe some of the work going on right now, innovation is coming on strong so not giving up!

Unbelievable number of man hours of R&D into this and still not finished, still finding ways to up the game. I'm certain it's possible to pull out even more driving pleasure! [emoji1]

Just been adding fully switchable "manetino" style driving modes into the mix.. not just throttle and back box exhaust valve opening times but fully switchable everything which I'm sure will be a big hit! Another world first on this platform coming soon!

Hope the boys at EAG looked after you today.

    Worth every penny so far!

As Trevor mentioned in one of his million threads, you got to have the car sorted for the tune to be effective. Given, I’ve only driven my car 8-9 miles after the tune, still need to sort some stuff out & tidy up a bit, but I can honestly say those 8-9 miles were the most enjoyable Ive had since I bought the car back in 2014. I can only imagine what my ride back from CA to TX would have been if it was sorted & tuned… wow! That would have been a ride of my life for sure!

I do not have Trev's tune just yet but when I am ready there is zero doubt he will be the one I go to...I have spoken in depth with Trev he is IMOP one of the most knowledgeable Tuners out there...his passion for Ferrari's bleeds through when you speak with him and not to mention his willingness to help others.
I am NOT related to Trev or knew him prior to Fchat this is simply my experience with him. Just like the OP mentioned don't hesitate to utilize his expertise.
If Enzo was still alive he would say "I'm Enzo and I endorse this message"..
    Good Luck.

Heard great things! Curious, what are the most significant differences between SAK and Fabspeed?

Drivability, overall response & deleting unnecessary nuances that Ferrari/ other tuners couldn’t figure out. Again, Trev would be the guy to speak to in regards to this. I have zero knowledge when it comes to software. I do a bit of wrenching on the car but thats as far as I go.

My understanding is that fabsoeed are just giving the fuel and ignition maps a tickle.

In contrast, SAK can furnish your car with the complete CS firmware (corrected for differences in hardware), bring new possibilities for tuning exhaust, throttle pedal and more, remove troublesome fault codes, correct errors in how the cam variators operate when the car is cold, the list goes on. Especially if you have an early car, the SAK tune can provide a much more drivable car.

I would sum up by saying one is just attempting to give you a power boost, and the other is looking at performance/reliability/usability.

You summed it up, honestly, its not always about making power, if the car does not respond well then I could have 800+ on the dyno claimed by a tuner but reliability & responsiveness are nowhere to be found. I’d stay away from tuners claim to get power out of a car.

I would bet that is an understatement of the work Trev put into this endeavor

Ok Guys, I'm sold. I have tried to contact 360trev a couple of times without success. I contacted Aldous Voice who told me to contact
[email protected] without any luck. Who knows the secret handshake? Please could someone send me a PM?
I would love to get rid of the "Laggy throttle response". I have never been able to do a smooth downshift.

    Thanks guys!

Trevor has partnered with Aldous to handle the customer facing side of things due to his own work schedule and both use local affiliates for doing the actual flashes to minimise shipping (I do the Australian ones). I'd suggest trying the agent again that Aldous has put you in contact with and include Aldous on the communication.
I'd be happy to help, but it's a long way to ship some ECU's to Australia!

I had my ECU's done by Trev last year. I went through the same third party. He is extremely helpful, great communication and I had my ECU's back in about 10 days.

    1. Is your tune applicable/advisable for those of us with gated cars?

This does not apply to me because I will never live in CA again, but just asking!
    2. Is your tune detectable through the OBDII as non-OEM during smog inspections?

I really appreciate your passion for these cars!

    Hi Trev,
What’s the latest updates on the ECU upgrades - Aldous fitted what was your current map to my car 2 years ago when he rebuilt my engine (on 114,000 miles now)
Think you know my car from the old Club Scuderia days etc. we both fitted Timate’s at the same time back then.
    Cheers

I have been trying to bone up on this. Trev - Can you field the following, RE: 2000 360 F1:

    1) What does the owner need to do first? Take ECU out and send to you?
    2) Issue taking out / reinstalling? Is a mechanic needed?
    3) General cost?
    4) Does the upgrade push the engine harder / hard enough to cause more wear? Where are the trade-off's?
    4) Other tasks that a non-wrenchhead would need to know?

How much of a 'plug and play' is this?
