Surprised you could get near the place - Australia titles are on at present across a few GC beaches (Broadbeach, Kurrawa and others).
Perfect beach day for the first time in ages - feel like I’ve been cheated of summer this year... morning spent in the ocean, followed by coffee on the surf club verandah (similar view to Moretti’s) , followed by an hour or so reading by the pool before lunch. Will conclude with sunset drinks down on point. Shouldn’t get too cocky though... it’ll probably bloody start raining again tomorrow!
