UK Spec 308 with rectangle indicators on front guards not round?

    Hi Guys, I have been watching this forum for a few months and I finally became a member, this is a good community. I have a question about a 1984 308 QV, UK Spec, I would like to buy and however the indicators on the front guards are rectangle not round, as UK spec indicators are round, I am looking for some advice, clarity on the matter if the hive mind can help. Thank you all in advance!

    The rectangular shape were also used on some Fiats during that period.

    As others mentioned - the European 308s used round front side markers until 1982, then with the introduction of the 1983-85 QV, the European versions used a thin rectangle front side marker like this:

    The US QVs used the same thicker front side markers that were installed on the older 308s as well - like this:
