    Thanks! I purchased this one from a guy in Atlanta in 2018 after a very long search. It is a very early production car (June 1994) and a very special color at that. Trouble free life, low miles, manual, no shields, airbag free steering wheel (as originally delivered), special exterior color, OBDI 2.7.

    Is this a U.S spec car? From the exterior it appears to be. I also have a June 1994 build car with standard airbags. I don’t believe U.S spec cars came with non-airbag steering wheels.

    It is a US spec car. I do believe that some early deliveries in the US came equipped with non airbag steering wheels. I don’t remember the exact date from which the airbag steering wheel became standard.

    There’s your answer :). All non-airbag 355’s from the factory came with a non airbag steering wheel and no airbag passenger dash. This would imply your non airbag steering wheel was installed by a previous owner after the fact.

    Not a big deal really, but perhaps an issue for Concours points. I have an airbag steering wheel and cash to fix your problem :).

    You've left me wondering wether my car has a passenger side airbag or not. It has a lid on the passenger side of the dashboard however I am unsure wether there is an airbag in there or not. I will validate once it comes back form the shop.
