    For the sake of all the good people working at Aston Martin I truly hope they can improve. But one has to be realistic about the state of ALL the Mercedes powered cars. All of them seem lost in the woods.

    But, as Ferrari is doing well I certainly won't be losing sleep over it. So if Big Daddy Stroll wants to blow his billions in F1, that's his choice. He won't be the first and he won't be the last to do so.

    The current regulations is where team aston Martin/Force India/Jordan should thrive. Stroll is picking up where Eddie Jordan started to fall down: Rule by fear. A death sentence in F1.

    F1 isn't a traditional business. If what we're hearing is accurate, Papa Stroll sitting in on meetings, asking questions, pointing fingers, is the last things that's needed. The lack of performance from the team (or any team) isn't because people are complacent or not whipped hard enough to do better. Introducing fear into the mix only makes it worse for F1. Engineers are less likely to try things for fear of it not working and losing their job. So things become too conservative and then you end up with the 2022 aston martin.

    I could see a scenario where Porsche brands the Red Bull engines, Audi buys a team like Aston Martin or Williams, and then uses the Porsche engine for their newly purchased car.

    yup, I asked my friends in Maranello what’s up with Seb? (3-4 years ago) they said int Italian, money can make one lazy and fat.

    Seb looks very disinterested in F1. Seb should retire after this season.

    not if you have a 6+ lap safety car. Battery will be drained and overheated and it's only marginally faster round the track than the Aston Martin...
