OK, but, OK.
The real question is: can merc make up 1 sec in quali through upgrades and .5/.6 in race pace ? Possible I guess, unlikely though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
George has to tell his parasol man on the grid to cool it when he’s doing an interview….. Just too funny…
I can't see a way how Ferrari loses either title. So many more development hours than Mercedes or RBR. RBR unreliable and their setup window is very narrow it seems. Mercedes nowhere near on quali pace, race pace isn't that good either but took advantage of severly graining tyres from Red Bull...who I think had a bad weekend all round not getting the setup needed. As Leclerc clearly demonstrated in F2 already he has the head of a champion. Yes in the past few years he made some mistakes, but if you're in a car that's not capable of winning, you're kinda excused if you ''win it or bin it'' IMO.
Long season. Charles in a good position for WDC (though it’s still early). WCC is far from over. No idea how Merc has two podiums, but, yeah, you don’t want them having too many of those then suddenly figure things out. Red Bull has to be concerned about their reliability. They look vulnerable.
I'm starting to like this Monaco anthem.......followed by the Italian anthem. Let's repeat this throughout the season.
If the season continues like this with reliability issues for RBR and Ferrari can simply maintain the advantage, Leclerc could the title around Japan-ish. Hell if it really stays like this, imagine he takes the title in Italy?! He'll be whatever the equivalent of knighted is in Italy on the spot...haha
Well technically they scored 27 points vs Ferrari’s 26. I’m liking the uncertainty of the races and how teams figure things out on the fly as well as car having very different quali and race paces. Would be nice to change the regulations every 2/3 years to slice things up! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Max: "We are already miles behind but I don't want to think about the championship fight at the moment. I think it's more important to finish races. Today, in general was a bad day again, not having the pace and managing my tyres to bring it to the end."
The fear of Mercedes is annoying at this point. First, everyone said they were sandbagging, then everyone said they'd get their issues resolved after a race or two. Ferrari are winning races in a spec car, with their engine power not fully up and aero upgrades held close to their chest. The only teams stands a serious chance against us is Red Bull. They're the only ones keeping up with our pace, and they're starting to look unreliable.
Congrats to Ferrari and Charles , solid car and race . Seb sucks , 3 way tie for worst driver of the season lol , both Aston drivers and Lattifi .
Albon’s drive great. IMO he was driver of the day just doing his job while hammy was whining as usual
That’s what you think. If that annoys u, good for u. Personally never said they were sandbagging or anything. They are simply slow but hanging in there. U mention upgrades for Ferrari. That’s fair but the difference is that Ferrari already have a good car. Maybe they can make it even better but the margin for Mercedes is simply greater as their car clearly drives like a pig compared to Ferrari or Red Bull… A changing of the guard is likely happening and long overdue but As a Ferrari owner & lover I’d caution dismissing a team which has dominated for so long. Simple as that… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
