I was again told by my Dealer Friday I could order a Roma- Source? Going to hold out for 599 but just curious- Cheers
If you guys can still order one do it now! My source is Continental Ferrari in Hinsdale where I get all my cars from. We had a 296 reveal and many interested could not order it and was also told no more Romas. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I heard each dealer has been given a last set of cars, once they reach that threshold they can take a deposit for a car but without a guaranteed delivery note.
Interesting I was at the dealer on Saturday and they said they also cannot order Roma's and Portofino M's. So they have enough orders on the books and there's difficulties in the supply chain as we all recognize. Sent from my Pixel 5 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
As I said so many times before, the factory currently has about 27'000 (twenty seven thousand) firm and signed orders (not including the upcoming FUV!) and these cars (Porto, Roma, 296, 812) need to be built first. We all know that the current annual production is around 11'000 (eleven thousand) so 27'000 is about 2.5 years of full production, almost three years. There are no difficulties to the supply chain. The problem is the capability (sheer lack of manufacturing halls, additional assembly lines, employees). Marcel Massini
Marcel do you think there is a chance they open some stuff up again once they worked off all the backlog?
the interesting thing about the Roma is that the model is actually already 3 years old, although it doesn't feel like it given it only 'recently' started deliveries, so while books might still be open it's probably rather towards the end of its lifecycle? also guess that with the SUV books now open, the order book is now exceeding 30k
Roma is absolutely NOT at the end of its lifecycle. And keep in mind that (the already finished) Roma Spider will be presented early 2023. And no, the order book is not exceeding 30 K. It was 27'000 in March, they did not sell 3'000 cars in a few weeks. Marcel Massini
I just had my Atelier session last week to spec the 812 Comp and was told the same - no supply chain issues holding anything up - just capacity. In addition to the 'regular' models being built I saw several Daytona SP3s and 812 Comps on the V12 line, which also had SF90s, 296 GTBs and a sprinkling of Romas. Lots of models to manufacture on just two lines....
I just paid a deposit and ordered my Roma... And my dealer confirmed to me that roma spider will be launched early 2023...also he confirmed that in 2022 the factory is focusing on f8 and sf90... Delivery for the roma is between 12-15 months Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
could you please let us know if Roma Spider is a hard-top convertible? or soft-top? and does it still have rear-seats? Thanks.
FYI, went to my dealership to place an order for 296GTS, and told Roma is still available, expected delivery time 12-15 months.
I placed my deposit on 11/2021 for Roma. When can I realistically expect delivery? Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I was told the Portafino M can't be ordered anymore, Roma's can still be ordered, just have to wait a while to receive it. Ferrari is going to have shorter runs and keep releasing new models it seems. Also, the suv won't be as easy to get especially for new Ferrari customers.
I am being quoted 18 to 24 months for a Roma. Order books are not closed, but that is longer than typical. Used market seems to be softening a bit though, might just go that route.
Silly question. Say someone cancel their f8- is the car not produced at all or reassigned to someone else? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
