What I don't know about this is immense; hoping to learn. Is it possible to desolder the OEM chip, solder in a chip socket, then copy the OEM chip to a rewritable chip and insert in the socket? What is a piggyback ECU and how does it work? Has anyone done this?
Yes it's possible I have done it, Sorry I'm done with the experiment I no longer have 5.2. I did post some of the map locations somewhere on the site here. Try searching Here they are https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/355-5-2-ecu-map-table-locations.580498/ Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
^^^Thanks. Exactly what I was looking for. Seems a lot easier/cheaper to use a piggy back computer? Any downside?
It was F355Bob. Been in touch with him and Unichip the company that makes the piggy back computer. "Almost" seems like a no brainer? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Has anyone used an LM-2 to measure AFR's on a 355? If they're bang on there isn't much point in remapping the ECU.
