someone has too much money? if a 308GT4 will sell so high then I ask why testarossas so cheap. or was this a fake sell???
Agreed… I mean testarossa is one of the last 2 cars from Enzo+last flat 12+last rear engine 12 aside f50 and la Ferrari if I get that right +iconic looks… Testarossas should be 200k Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I agree with you. But I think now we are seeing condition playing no small role in values. This appears to be a very nice car. Many were not maintained very well. I suspect this is why this pulled so much money. I think that is at least a big part of the story here. I think if you have an exceptional Tr you would also see above average money. But I think one small problem persists. It’s much easier to find a nice tr than a nice gt4. Most of those that I have seen were in poor condition. Just an observation.
$300k for the 328 was even more of an argument that the TR is undervalued. Irrespective of price, I'd take the GT4 over a TR, more usable, tossable, easy maintenance, carbs. But, I'd take a TR at $150k over a GT4 at $100k. Both the GT4 and the TR are unique in the F lineup.
You are very kind towards the gt4. To ME, with the mondial & 400 series, those are the least desirable Ferrari Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Is it the one Ferrari of central Florida had for sale a little while ago? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Haven’t your last 8,000 posts been slamming TR prices anywhere near 100k - you hit your head? The TR is worthless, you own one!
1-I’m a statistician. That’s what I do for a living. I have love for the TR but I do numbers. Up until the pandemic, as supported by sales and numbers. A basic rosso corsa 87-91, 25k miles , great shape was 100kish, a lower mile example with some more service history and perhaps things like luggage and stuff could be had for 150 and unique cars might have gone to 180. Most ads and cars would sit and not sell rapidly. Fast forward to 2022 the TRs are selling faster, benefiting from this pandemic money we are seeing. We clearly have seen that same basic TR go up 20-30%. Inventory has shrunk and rare cars with provenance/low miles have had great money. That’s what the current market is and like everything it can/will evolve. This post started over 10 years ago with folks seeing them for sale at 50k. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is just an example of nothing but opinion, Nothing statical here, but whatever floats your boat. You keep doing you All you do is piss on cars and then hide behind a stat. The one handed clap effect .. LOL
Cool story , whatever you say I shared on multiple occasions not only sales but statistics and spreadsheet so again I’ll let u be a keyboard warrior, no time or interest in that. I got 2 year old twins to take care of better of use of my time than entertain u. Have a great day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well right now I got my tr and 355 and waiting for 296 but that’s a year away for me. One car Id love to have but not sure I could pull it AND have the 296 is a SLR… don’t know but I love that car lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
even hagerty values went up approx 20/25 % recently on tr i just raised my value on mine for my insurance policy ,i would say minum for a tr is 200k .rare colors history and condition is much more than 200k
