Looks very pretty, but I would imagine it is terrifying to drive above street speeds.

Depends on condition and some of the ones on CarSales have been listed for over 3 years so I'd be careful using those as a price guide. 930s are very difficult to find in decent unmodified condition with a reasonable mileage. There's lots of imports and conversions around, most done very poorly. There's around 300 Australian deliveries of both variants.

Scroll down to the brown 930 here, this is a very nice Australian delivered 930. It went through Shannons in around 2018 for approximately $180,000:

Good ones seem to sell for a fair price. They are reasonable value next to a 1973 and earlier steel bumper car however which sells for even more assuming the same condition and a 2.4 litre version.

Air cooled Porsches are hot property at the moment hence the escalating prices. Lots of people with cash around, in the case of 1970s models, very small production numbers and the waxed beard hipster set have got into them. The latter are an interesting breed, most don't even know how to check the oil. Blame Magnus Walker.

The factory has a spectacular classic parts division which I also suspect keeps prices buoyant. Available from any Porsche dealer and the parts manuals are available for download off the Porsche Classic website. They make it so easy.

I suspect with Kumho tyres fitted it's an indication of how the rest of the car is fettled, so probably yes.

Otherwise a well set up car is just a delight. Very progressive and communicative chassis.
