Never heard a bad word about him, simply top tier as team principles go.

I'm glad he never descended to the depths of Toto and (especially) Horner.

This will be interesting as he keeps the team in the lead. They have a winning car. They need to keep winning and win the title or titles. Until then he is a decent manager who has shown results. This year after 3 races.

I think it's nice to see someone being given a solid chance with a deep degree of continuity to effect positive change and the time it takes for it to happen.

Kudos to Ferrari leadership, Mattia and Scuderia Ferrari.

I like his cool low profile character. Ferrari are the best...for now, but he's keeping it together without any noises to the press. Hats off.

He has done very well to get us here, we had sunk very low.
I like him as a man, much more than Horner.
But, Horner and Wolf have the titles.
Greatness will be measured over years and in cold statistics.
I wish him well, and respect what he has done so far both as an engineer and a principal.
The futures is unwritten, all we can say is that today it looks much brighter that it did.

An engineer in the great tradition of Mauro Forghieri IMO.

He finally lost the goofy eyeglasses but needs to do something with that hair? The Harold Lloyd look is most unbecoming.

Anyways, it's still early days. We need at least 5-7 races for this kinda showing from Ferrari for me to be convinced we are genuine title challengers this season. For now, lets cool our horses.

I think Mercedes has the best chance to improve a lot in a short time.

I just want to make sure that we are talking about the same man who has been incessantly mocked and criticized for the past few years here.

Always respected him as an engineer, but doubts grew over the last two years on his ability to lead. Very happy to admit I was wrong.

I was not sure what to think. This year was the test after developing the car last year and telling all 21 would be full development focus. Well done. The effort is rewarded. He was open and truthful with Tifosi.

So further to him, we have Elkann to thank for sticking with him, correct?

Happy to have been wrong. Still don't think he's the best ''front man'' but given his not super-great english that may be a contributing factor. In the end, results matter, and certainly prefer him over narcissists like Toto.
