Anyone knows how to run a wire from cockpit to rear tail light

    Hi,

    Thinking about to install a rear camera on my 458. In my other car I had before I just ran the wire through rear back seat to back trunk to get to the rear tail light. But what is the best and safe way to run a wire on 458 since there is an engine behind. Do i have to remove the rear bumper and fender cover to get to it?
    And anyone knows how to identify the reverse light as i need to tap it.

    You only need to take off the plastic inner fender to get to the light. Suggest using a wireless camera.

    There’s a slim chance that all the cars have a coax or twisted wire pair in the harness already. In any case, I’d pull the taillight and see where the wiring harness goes and use that as your guide
