Is that the same color as the gulf orange? I can't remember if it is. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
It's different, Grabber Orange (first introduced by Ford in 1969) is color code U3 and has a slight yellow tint, whereas Gulf Orange is code 019 and has a slight red tint.
Just last week (March 30th) Ford GT Concierge confirmed to us in writing that there are 3 in total, 2 with stripes, K233 being the only one in GO without stripes.
I would make the clarification just because there is specifically a high cost option to ensure the paint code of an ECP car is a 1 of 1, which I view as distinct from saying a particular GT is a 1 of 1 option set.
To illustrate that you are correct I thought this certificate issued by Ford for a GT that has an ECP lock would be helpful for others to understand what you are saying, I've seen images of this particular GT but I'm not sure what the actual name of the ECP color is (or the cost), called save to say that it's the only one Ford has built in it, very cool certificate I must say. don't mean to criticize, but, your pics look 'strange'. some unnecessary photographers 'effect' ? artistic? maybe. does it help sell the car? no. (my opinion only ) awesome car btw .
Thanks and no worries, when you download images and post them on FChat, they lose their high resolution and gain an over-saturated low-resolution effect unfortunately. The photographer John Bunker took the images on a misty morning so there is indeed already an artistic effect made doubly worse by what I described above and the fact that orange looks very different depending on format and lighting, here are his original images: https://www.photosbunker.com/2019-ford-gt/7cigl8z62a0ntre03krpe788eovr91 FWIW he shot these images for Griot's Garage Handbook number 477 and you can see some outtakes here as well: https://www.flickr.com/photos/griots/albums/72157712769349532 Feel free to download any of these images as desired. By the way it isn't for sale, meanwhile here below are some basic cellphone shots of what it looks like in the garage, day & night, hope these look somewhat better! It's interesting what you learn about the reason, conception, design, engineering, development and production of these beautiful Supercars just by reading magazines. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I forgot to mention, even though ours isn't for sale we apparently do have a 230-miles 2019 GT coming up for auction on our online platform soon, I'll be sure to share the details here as soon as I have them.
I'm not sure anyone posted these Registries for the cars here but I thought they might be interesting http://www.fordgtforum.com/registry1/ & https://www.instagram.com/fordgtregistry/?hl=en or useful.
The Kid who is doing the Ford GT registry on Instagram is a nice guy I have meet him and even stopped by to say hello. Very passionate about these cars. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
As promised here's K117 in Race Red with just 230 miles, coming soon to our online auction platform https://www.sackeyandco.com Image Unavailable, Please Login
So fantastic. My Raptor has the same engine, but tuned differently. A lot of the part numbers are the same. I do not want a V8 over the TT V6. A light nose is worth a lot.
Some great photos of K117, this one will be available to the highest bidder, more information can be found here: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/2019-ford-gt-255-miles-special-factory-color-118k-in-options.658022/ Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I'd rather have that car than any other supercar. It would look so nice on a trailer behind my Raptor on a track day. lol
