So what’s the ‘news’ ? I would have said 99% of Tweets are just promoting something or other? Pick any brand that is popular on Twitter and the profile is probably similar. There are really only 2 types of social media these days - those promoting somethings and those bagging something...
Test drove a Polestar 2 with all the bells and whistles (long range dual motor with performance pack). Fantastic car.
Yeah expensive. Around $90k or so on road here in NSW. Tesla Model 3 would be better value wise. Have not yet test driven a Model 3 performance (similar price point). I was shocked at how sharp the 2 tonne car handled and of course the glued to your seat experience when mashing the go pedal from a stop or up hill.
Insurance companies don't like EV's ATM either: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-04-20/high-cost-of-insurance-for-electric-vehicles-affecting-ev-uptake/100999226
Do any of you poofs have battery storage at your castles? Wondering whether it might be worth looking into with the inevitable blackouts coming our way...
I only got solar in an attempt to save money, not the planet. I remember at the time (about 3 years ago..) that the economics of battery storage just didn’t make sense, so I never went ahead. I haven’t looked into it since. Watts wrong with a torch?
One for the Tesla fan boys. Pretty much what I saw when I had a look at one up close. **** build quality https://www.instagram.com/reel/CemQb4TlFst/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
