Actually I need to have someone take a picture of me as most time my legs would be hanging out of the bottom of the car!!!!!

I have to say, I never understood the thinking behind taking your Ferrari to a car show to be judged, why not take a drive in the canyons and see how good the car feels and how involved one has the guts to be in while driving it ? I could care less about what place ones Ferrari comes in , for Gods sakes, Ferraris are meant to be driven, not judged , good grief, stop with trailer queen ******** already. I was at one of these shows , and someone with a 275 GTB 4 cam was worried about having to fix his signals on the lawn, and whether or not he would be deducted points. This car looked like it had not seen a stretch of road in 35 years. The thing is, the owners of these cars have so much ****ing money, if they did get a scratch on it , it would not make a bit of difference, they can take the cash and get it fixed without a claim . Good grief. Mike Hawthorn and Peter Collins must be spinning in their graves with all this ******** .

    Thank you

Why should you care how any of us choose to enjoy our Ferrari? You want to pretend you are the next F1 Driving sensation? Go for it. Alberto find pleasure in showing his vehicles? More power to him. I view mine as automotive art and don’t take it out but very little as I don’t like the attention that comes with it. We all purchased our cars for personal reasons. My decision was based around beauty/design. Be interesting to know what factor prompted everyone’s purchase.

Does doing one exclude the other?

I've taken mine to several local car shows - nothing remotely like high-end Concours, but nonetheless... I've also never expected to win anything, as it's a Ferrari. I'd have better chances of winning a car show trophy around here if I drove a brand-new Camaro, or a truck with wheels taller than the average Ferrari owner. (Do I wish I had a flawless car? Hell yes. And I'd still drive it.) I don't have any canyons, but it drives great on rural back roads. I'd be driving it 120+ miles today for Easter family visits, but it's not the car I like to drive in the heavy rain we're having this weekend.

Some people collect fine art. Some people paint. Some people do both. I don't believe any of those 3 groups of people are doing art wrong.

I was at a show right before the pandemic hit. A guy that I'd casually met at some point in the past walked up to my car, his young daughter with him. We did the usual "nice car! thanks so much" exchange for a bit; he looked down at her, asked her what she thought of it .... she looked star-struck. Which of course meant that I opened the door for her, and told her that she had to sit behind the wheel. That's a big reason I go to car shows. Another big reason: because I love seeing other people's awesome cars (that Buick Super 8 was incredible), and hearing their stories.

This is in my opinion exactly as an intelligent guy should speak.

This said, I would like to come back in topic, that is "how do you actually look with your 3x8?"

    Ciao

If you adjust that thing JUST right, the emergency brake will hold the car on a flat surface. At least as long as the wind isn’t blowing.
