And what is that U shape loop on your control arm?
Needs a bend on the right side for regular folks but this is lowered an inch so no interference issues, the small loop on control arm is for 328 emergency brake cable hold down
great work, am i to assume you will be utilizing a true dual exhaust? I did the same with my euro GTS, the sound is incredible,i used 2 magnaflows Image Unavailable, Please Login
Care to share which type of Magnaflow mufflers ? Thinking on upgrading the sound so would be good to know.
i cant recall, its been over 20 years, but be advised, this configuration of mufflers only works on the euro model, as i have a very shallow trunk area, so the mufflers tuck up under the car nicely, hence the need for a diaper on non euro cars.
Yes will be duals, not equal length but I might do a balance pipe, probably won’t but the option is there
Had a few minutes today, starting to figure out where the Electramotive ignition is going, I don’t have a back window so I was going to do a solid aluminum panel back there with a mail slot window so maybe I stick the coils back there, no idea, someone should stop me, was going to stick with rest on the bulkhead between the seats like it’s a flux capacitor, That’s pretty much it for wiring on the entire car, will just have headlights and tail lights and that’s it, oh and a fan, gotta have a fan Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
You're going to drive it on the road? In Washington? On I5 with the no sense of humor Washington State Patrol? Please rehearse "Yes officer" in your most unthreatening voice.
I constantly drive huge question marks in the eyes of the law here, I hold the record for driving a 1917 Maxwell speedster from Vantage to issaquah in 96 minutes. Thankfully it’s heading to Germany next week Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, I’ve done lexan windshields and polycarbonate, thought about doing red but will most likely use aluminum
Not much to report, had to fabricate some non Ferrari stuff today but did find time to whip out an oil cooler mount so there’s that. I may duct it but probably won’t need it hanging out in the back 40 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
HMmmmm... If you can I'd suggest turning/rotating it so that the top and bottom tanks sit horizontal, bottom supply feed no lower then output port on the block. Tilt it all you want, but running tilted like it is has not just cooling issues but the drain back to the sump isn't going to happen. That's just my nitpicky opinion
dont forget 80 psi will help circulate. Also the cooler hoses are big, but still better to have the cooler up higher .
It’s watering day, since I have to make Everything anyway I might as well do the cooling system, I went with Stainless since that’s what I have, rolled some pipe beads and started the process, everything hose is silicone, I ran out of stainless so there’s that Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
If you're running a water based coolant, get a sacrificial anode for the tank. Run pentosin blue coolant. Looks good!
Superformance UK has a pretty good selection of repop expansion tanks for not too much money...... https://www.superformance.co.uk/308/cooling.html
