Looks a bit like the other series but I’d have one if it was freee I’d be quite happy in a $4k Starlet [emoji4]
Catching up with Ferrari friends in the CBD....for breakfast congrats on the new purchase..Great drive yesterday,so many fun roads followed to Ballarat, just on 230kms. Image Unavailable, Please Login
You know, there are very few cars that make an i3 look good, and that is certainly one of them. It just goes to show that all the money in the world doesn't buy taste. Sig www.pless.com.au/mechanics.htm
Most 4WD ‘thingys’ are just for show. Absolutely ridiculous the number of them clogging up suburban streets.
I don't know how they park them in the city. Big Landcruisers and Patrols. The Patrols are huge these days. I just squeeze my Prado into carparks down there. Same as the RAMS, Silverados etc. They are everywhere here now and even they have trouble parking those behemoths around town. They are good out on the open roads but lol. We just drove home 1300 kms straight from Mackay to Isa yesterday in the Prado and it did it with ease.
Yep, people turn up where I live and complain the garages are too small (99% are SUV thingys) but I just smile and say, well I fit 2 cars in mine (same size 7.5m x 2.7) and they look across!
Yep, I built a 7.5m x 8m carport here for my Statesman and Crewman at the time. Have a Prado and Hilux in here now. Built it that big mainly for the width as you know what kids can be like when they swing car doors open. Test drove a 1500 RAM last year and it fit in here nicely also. NOT going to buy one though, **** that. When I build a new house one day, I will definitely build at least a 7.5 x 7.5m garage into the house so I can park my Ferrari in there so I am capable of swinging the door all the way open so I can get in and out lol.
That’s becoming a more standard size these days, but it makes me laugh because in many of the housing estates that makes it by far the largest room in the house (and the cars are parked at the office/railway station/ shops all day anyway...). At current prices, a room that size is worth a nearly a couple of hundred grand... (56.25 sqm at $3000/ sqm is $168,750)
Crazy hey! I built two "spec" 240 sqm homes in Townsville back in 2009 and paid just under $200K for each build. That's complete turn key homes with turf, driveway, letter box etc, ready for the tenant to move straight in. The Wife (living in fantasy land as usual) got a quote to build a 600 sqm home on the Gold Coast around 6 months ago and it was just over $1M.
On this you and I are 100% in agreement. The suburban 4WD is a total joke, and a classic inner city wanker thing. I was having lunch with a very good mate of mine last week whom lives and socialises in the classic inner city suburban clique. He’s one of the few that manages to stay normal, however. Anyway, while we’re sitting there he suddenly goes “That’s one of the new Landcruisers!” And I looked up to see possibly the ugliest and most ridiculous HOS I’ve seen in ages drive past. What a minger! I pointed out that I thought it was a shocker, and he said yeah but they’ll be in every second driveway in his suburb before you know it. Tragic.
