    There are many photos onThe Net ,books and period mags of Doug Whitefords ex factory Maserati 300S #3055.
    Few of her being loaded into her custom built Rice trailer .....Here is one .
    # Notice Doug pushing with a rag .

    The trailer is still around having been restored by John Sheppard many years ago...and onsold with his Maserati 300S to Kerry M.

    I last saw the trailer around 10 years ago stored in a warehouse in Port Melbourne with various exotic cars.

    There were two built in that style one for Doug the other for Bob Jane ...both for the ex factory 300S cars.

    Lots of confusion as to which trailer is in my coloured photo , I suspect its Jane's one as John S worked for Jane and restored it ....the Stan Jones similar trailer is still around for years it was parked outside a mansion in Kew of Barkers road when owned by John Best .
