As she said " FAB gift in the way of a watch" & a 'quality trophy"

One of her staff members with the various gifts...

Who won the prizes Rob, class winners & Best in Show, I'm interested to know, nothing on google as yet?

 

My brother inlaw /Sister 1st outright with the Skiff, 1st price a 7k watch and a fab trophy
2nd I think a Porsche 356
and not sure Carl will know , I didn't go to the event ..

By all accounts 150 FAB cars on display .

Nice ,so special those early ones with the 1st dash and rear picnic tables and rare compared to a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow .

I enjoy so much my early T sereis 20k car but so much fun ,where as the two Rolls-Royces I have ,I drive little .

Notice the speed 128mph in a 1951 Bentley ....Impressive Yes? And just sitting on the red line .

 

10% speedo error = 115 mph ........... I could do that on a bicycle in 1951

 

Nope mechanical tacho... you loose again.

 

Mechanical means 20% error .... lucky to crack the ton

 

So the books author lied?
