    That is very nice.
I love the way that despite the low mileage and the showroom condition, in the video, the California Mirror acts like a sulky child in a family photo.

For a wet sump version with the ugly bumpers?

A dry sump euro car should be the one to set records.

Yes , This car is very nice, like buying a periscopo countach, the earliest version of a 308...You really see the 288 in this car....10 years early!

Lets get some guesses on sale price...
I will go out on a limb and say..........$400 to $450,000.00
Yea...crazy...but we livin in crazy times...

I dont think a record sale price is a great investment.

There are better ways to invest besides this car in an inflated market.

And I'm not knocking the car or a nice 6 figure price.

    Just not 400,000 something

When I had a few 308's in the 80's and early nineties..I remember reading that Pinin designed the front lower valance going up to the bumper to resemble the under breast of a good looking woman....More Little known facts!

I scanned the listing trying to find justification/documentation of the low mileage. Is the explanation there? There are 0 mile 328s but not 308s. People just drove them.

Which would be a nice respectable bump. The glass cars have softened a bit in the past few years.

No shame in moving this car at 250K

Euro dry sumps bring a significant premium over the US version. I doubt that there are any dry sumps with comparable mileage. There isn't much demand for US version 308s outside the USA.

When I was buying, restoring and selling F cars in late 80's and all through the nineties....a wise man told me

" You can never pay too much for a Ferrari, you can only buy too early! "

I predict it will stall at $150,000 and not meet reserve.

I am thinking that the market will abruptly slam shut very soon.

I think he meant "... you can only buy too LATE"

Because had you and I bought one of these cars just 8 years ago or so...

"too early" is the correct phrasing
the value will eventually match your price paid

So bidding when from $45K to $200K with no intermittent bids?? A shame the car was never in California to obtain a BAR certificate. Passing smog will be impossible in CA, as a NON - Cat car, so that means a 49 state car. It does have the air pump though. Big money for a wet sump US car though

WHAAAAaaaaat? You mean that $155,000 bumps aren't common? That's only a little more than 3.44X that previous bid. In one bid.
I thought BAT had culled the shill bidding. LMAO. They weren't even subtle about it.
