I like to think about what my garage would look like with my ideal Ferrari duo. I think it would be a 296GTS and an 812 Superfast… a mid engine with all the newest tech, and the v12 NA, still pretty modern (I’m more of a tech guy than nostalgic). Both would be matching gray or silver with yellow badges and calipers. I mean, keeping it “reasonable” without LaFerrari, Enzo, etc. What would yours be? And show pics if you already have that perfect combo!
599 GTO - shields free in a historic color 360 CS - red over black with factory stripe Naturally aspirated V8 and V12 goodness. Old enough to have curvy Pininfarina sexiness. New enough to have enough safety features to keep the wife from nagging me. Rare enough that I won't see one every day. T
Hmmm, great question. I want to say F8 Tributo in Blue Abu Dhabi and SF90 Spider, Tailor Made spec inspired by a Viking sportfish since that is what is currently in the garage (the SF90 is still being ordered, haven't taken delivery). Another part of me wants to say the 458 Speciale Aperta, since it was my first ever "favorite" Ferrari. The Monza is my favorite car ever, but that isn't reasonable. I absolutely love the Dino 246, but do I want a V6 in my Ferrari two car solution? I'm not sure. I know I have a lot to say for someone so new to the forum, but I have never truly thought this through so I am very excited to answer. I believe I would take an 812 GTS, for practicality, and a 458 Speciale Aperta. Honestly, no clue how I would spec them, there's just too many options. The only thing I know would be to not paint them Rosso Corsa. I'd like them to be a little bit different. I'm still young, and I've only ever driven an F8. Having an NA V12 and NA V8 would just sound great. I'm definitely going to keep thinking about this, though.
Cool! How does the Viking affect the spec? I was lucky to have a good friend with one and taught me everything about ocean boasts and tuna
Without naming specific chassis numbers, there needs to always be a variety in life. Therefore something from the 1950's, the heart of Ferrari cars Plus something from the 1990s, an innovative era.
The ones I already have, my 328gts for the raw old school analogue experience and my 430 spider 3 pedal for the modern comfort! That being said I just picked up a Portofino for my everyday use because with the way 430 3 pedal values are going I can't afford to drive it on a regular basis anymore! Now I need to build a bigger stable......
So the plan is to paint the car the same color as the hull, as well as use the same leather (or super similar) and wood for the interior. We'd like to incorporate the logo somewhere, not sure if it could be done from factory.
