Any indication of price premium vs the GTB?

FNA only requires $10k for a deposit. Anything above that is just dealer gouging.

All that said the GTS is a much better looking vehicle than the GTB. Not sure why but it’s definitely more pleasing to look at in my eyes.
If I didn’t have a spider SF90 on the way, God knows when, I would have ordered one.

Gave my deposit yesterday ($15K). Although I liked the look of the GTB, there was a hesitation to order, but that hesitation disappeared with the GTS. I suppose I'm just a spider guy!

Personally, I find the GTS version much more attractive than the GTB version.
I really like the curves of the GTB but this one borders on visual pornography for me.
Still a bit hesitant with the V6 Hybrid but I think that will change quickly when I will have the chance to test one.
And 830hp is really a ridiculous amount of power for a "Sports car".

As is the case with the 296 GTB, dominant feature of the new car’s architecture is the signature ‘aero bridge’. The overall effect is of an extremely compact cabin effortlessly integrated with the wings and flanks. The buttress theme is further enhanced by contrasting sculpted extensions that frame the engine cover screen and integrate the novel fuel filler and battery charge covers, avoiding architectural disharmony.

based on that, my "best guess" at the moment is this lid opens to reveal:

Love the looks and will drive amazing but wouldn‘t buy one. Call me old fashioned but the 430 Scuderia and a manual naturally aspirated GT3 Touring will be the pinnacle of emotional driving for me.

I got in yesterday... with GTB deposits rumored to be ending for now, 8 months before the first cars arrive, it seems like a decent bet that it will hold value in the short term.

They showed me the stack of deposit folders that started Tuesday morning and they already had nearly as many in two days as the first 3 months of GTB. I think that is largely due to the reviews of the GTB being out now, and the road shows, people have a better sense for what this will be.

Placed an order about 1 months ago on GTB, plan to place another one for GTS. I will compare both when I have them to decide which one to keep. Love the design.

I got deposit in for GTS today, too. Started getting nervous hearing that GTB may close relatively soon, and seeing lots of people signing up for GTS already. Let’s gooo!!!

Deposit will be around $35K here in Korea.
35K rule has been settled Ferrari Korea since F8 era.

Informed that ‘New Customer’ won’t be able to buy easily, since lots of current owners are waiting in line already.

Furthermore, strong resale value of F8 spider makes the market insane (i.e., 1-2 year old with decent mileage ‘used’ F8 Spider earns you at least $ 50K premium, right, not 5K, but 50K)

Strong resale of the F8 may not translate to strong resale on the 296 since the F8 is the last of the platform.

Possibly, but I'm going to bet that the GTS outsells the F8S. There is a group of enthusiasts who are lured by the "last of the V8 line" appeal, but from the anecdotal responses I'm seeing to the GTS - including from my wife - I think the smoother, curvier look to the GTS is going to reach a broader audience.

Agree with this, I had moved from the 488 Spider to an F8 Spider order, but ended up cancelling the F8S to help a sibling with a major problem (no regrets). When I was ready to jump back on line I learned they were no longer taking orders. As it turns out, I prefer the GTS over the F8, especially having just owned the 488 Spider for several years. My wife and best friend both prefer the look of the GTS as well, and mostly for the reasons you stated. I have no interest in an F8 Spider at current asking prices. No "sour grapes", if they can get it, good for those owners, but I don't pay $150K+ over sticker for any normal production car, even if it remains the last 8 cyl. in that line.

For exterior aesthetic wise, I prefer F8S to 296GTS, but interior for 296GTS.

I’m not sure about ‘Hybrid’ thing, meanwhile some of reviews (for 296 GTB) stated that ‘fun’ factor including sound excels F8 makes me to consider to open ‘thin’ wallet ;-)

Maybe someone of veteran status here could help me as I feel like the MO of Ferrari dealers is ridiculous and information from them can come across as useless if you are a new customer. I have a 296 GTB deposit in, according to the sales team I will have the Car in 12-18 months. I now want the 296 GTS and they are claiming I cannot switch the my $10,000 deposit over to the 296 GTS or I otherwise would look like a quote on quote JACKASS to Ferrari Corporate North America. I would also then fall into bad standing with the company apparently. Jesus Christ what a bunch of ****ers. Anyway, I still plan to take delivery of the 296 GTB and put some miles on it. My question is simply your own speculation. I can't put a deposit today on the 296 GTS. I do plan to put a few hundred miles on the car and then sell back to dealer and attempt the 296 GTS allocation. How long before the 296 GTS books close? Is this at all possible? Or would the clock burn out by the time my 296 GTB arrives and the GTS is gone forever. I feel like it is possible but I want to hear from someone that maybe has done the same with the special editions or other GTB to GTS cars.
    Thanks!

Seems odd compared to what I was told, which was that I could either put deposit on GTB and switch it over to the GTS if I preferred that car once announced, or just wait and see. I chose the latter, and put deposit directly on GTS but my dealer seemed pretty flexible, and that it wasn’t a big deal. Seems like dealers say and so what they want, not consistent across them.
