328 paint code label

Friday afternoon car? Australian car? Put on wrong after restoration

 

Are you sure your engine cover is not on backwards?

 

I like Australia. Cracked me up!!

 

If that was installed at the factory then you have a one off car.

 

I went to try and take the sticker off and put back the right way up, but the more I look at it the more I think it really doesn't look like it's been disturbed
That area doesn't look like it's been repainted and there's no sign of extra glue around the edges or signs of it being in a very slightly different place.
I'm not saying it was originally like that but it's certainly intriguing.
I may leave it as it is for now

 

I would leave it as is as well. Pretty cool, actually. I wonder if some person at the factory thought "I wonder if anyone will ever notice this?"
