Good day all, am having a collection of warning lights coming up on my 599, it started with CCM then my tail lights, tpms, parking sensors, and now number plate light failure.

i had to change the tail lights just to remove the warning, i changed the plate number light, but unfortunately nothing changed and the warning still on.

Any one facing the same problem, although my car have only 35000km and well looked at.

please advise, i am really getting frustrated and started to dislike the ride.

Like Dominick said, put in a new AGM battery and then see what you have.

Was the battery replaced before or after the problems showed up?

Have the dealer check the battery and also have them do a complete reset of the car computers.

When you get these cascade failures, its often a fault on the CAN bus. I'd need to check, but I think these modules are all on the B-CAN.

Agreed. The challenge is locating/isolating the problem. It can be anything: a bad module, shorted wiring, loose or corroded connector, etc. And unfortunately, that could be ANYWHERE in the wiring harness. Aren't car electronics fun :)

Indeed. Modules are the easy place to start on CAN systems- can unplug ecu’s one by one to see if anything changes. Next easy one is to check the resistance is correct across the CAN high/low lines. If you have a CAN bus sniffer you can see if the network is being overwhelmed with garbage messages.

After that, I think you’re looking for physical evidence of faults.

I would add that if one is shorted to ground it should be ok but if both have any kind of short it is a big problem. Yes, you would want to find the short but it should work fine with one grounded since it is a floating differential signal.

That's not the question I asked. The OP replaced the battery and the question was: Was the battery replaced before or after the problems showed up?

If the problems are the result of a battery change.....that is one thing. If they pre-existed the battery change.....that means the battery had nothing to do with it.

I don't think the battery is the problem, but nevertheless, I bought new one today and will replace it. Obviously the agent here are used to these errors. For the tail light, they simply can't do anything so these suggested to just keep it, but I replaced them anyway. For the plate number light fault. No clear answer. For the parking sensors they just told me to replace them. I will end up replacing every single part in my car if I follow that path. I took the car today to do deep cumputer check "as they call it", will see the result by end of today. As of the CCMs, it will cost me $1k just to have it checked, so I reather keep it. Am getting usied to these warning now, as long as the engine is maintained, and no harsh driving, what else can I do. Thanks all

If the battery checks/tests fine, then you, unfortunately, are in a heap of trouble.
