Thank you. This is an early first generation of the 1013, probably 1960 to 1961 or 62 at the very latest. 1560 movement. The original dial and hands...notice the lum material has powdered away in the minute hand. I won't ever bother to replace...just preserve as is, since it doesn't affect the time keeping or look of the watch. I've owned 9 or 10 of these over the last 20+ years...right now I have just two. This early one, and then an example from the very end of the 1013 series in the mid-seventies. So much alike yet so obviously different. I prefer to wear them both on leather straps...keeps the gold head more subtle. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Amazing- Just absolutely beautiful- The fact the lum has eroded just gives it classic patina IMHO- FWIW also agree on the strap- Makes it look richer and classier than metal bracelet- Absolutely gorgeous watch- Thanks for the great info and background- Cheers

The first stage of cleaning the bronze watch involved dipping it for ±20 minutes into a paste made of lemon juice and baking soda. The second stage, much less spectacular on video than with the naked eyes, involved mixing a tablespoon of citric acide and one of baking soda, positioning the watch and the other bronze parts and adding a liberal amont of mineralized water. Here is the watch before and after: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Loving my (polarizing) Richard Mille 029 in Titanium. I know many watch enthusiasts aren't fans of the brand but I am and it's been an incredible investment. Image Unavailable, Please Login
